    Have eaten here on several occasions. The food is good and they are very consistent, I always get a very fresh looking and tasting meal.

    I have received fortune cookies usually when the order is large, on single small orders I have not had fortune cookies.
    Which is fine, just wanted to point that out.

    They are quick, they accept cards and everything looks clean. You can see inside the kitchen from the counter and it all seems organized and sanitized.

    Their only down side is that they have a relatively small fridge and often they are out of some drinks or they are hot because they were recently placed.

    Will continue eating at Pekin.

    Good food but they dont offer fortune cookies and one of the ladies has a weird attitude.

    Far from the center of New Orleans sits this tiny restaurant on the corner of a dated strip mall. There's not much charming on the inside, but most people come here purely for take-out.

    As far as Chinese restaurants go, this place is worth getting food from if you happen to be in the area.
    The ingredients are fresh and it's nice to support a small family operation. With reasonably priced lunch specials and lots of meat and vegetarian options, I often find myself stopping here for a quick bite while running errands in the area.
