As soon as I walked in this beautiful short man, with a mustache greeted me. I knew right away. This was the place. The atmosphere filled the room and the decor. Definitely did its job. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak and a small meatball sub. As soon as I bit into it.. THE CRUNCH AND THE FLAVORS, oh my gosh. I felt like a hostile New Jersey family of three moved into my taste buds. This is definitely where I’m taking my family of nine every trip to New Orleans. We love Jacque and his crew. Delicious food and delicious ATMOSPHERE.

Went on opening day for free sandwich offer and it was delicious. My friend from Philly is so excited to get one here. I met owner and his mother, who were friendly and welcoming. I look forward to many more delicious sandwiches from this place.

Thank god this place opened. As much as I love a good parkway poboy my go to are Italian sandwiches for comfort food. Growing up eating at Sarcone’s and the original Pal Joeys, Primos is a breath of fresh air in New Orlean’s saturated and mediocre sandwich game. Get any of the Italians on the seeded roll. Don’t forget to get a side of pepper shooters also and maybe a side of long hots and broccoli rabe too.

So excited to finally have a Primo in town! As a former Philly native I can tell you that Primo is the only national chain that has hoagies that taste like a mom & pop sandwich shop down in south Philadelphia. The bread is the BEST. The ingredients are top-notch.
Definitely looking forward to stopping there on my way home from work frequently!

Also, they had a brass band on opening day and the owner is super nice and was hanging out with everyone. They definitely get the New Orleans vibes. 🤗💓

Really great hoagies! Really good bread with high-quality, seasoned deli meats. Sandwiches were more like something you would get catered from a local deli than your typical chain sandwich shop. Highly recommended!
