???? the best breakfast place I’ve eaten at in New Orleans!! We were in New Orleans for four days this last visit and we are here 3 days straight. Everything was good and the homemade jam was a winner.
The first day we were a little disappointed with the wait but it was worth the wait. I will visit here every time I go to New Orleans from here out.
Mr. Al, was awesome and very welcoming and there were a few others that had great customer service with the exception of one or two. I would definitely recommend
Besides ALWAYS having the "BIG AL'S" Bloody Marys with breakfast, Russell's Marina has some of the best prepared breakfast entrees in New Orleans. From "Benedict-like" Eggs Pontchartrain to sweet potato pancakes smothered with your choose of fruits and/or nuts, the menu can satisfy your breakfast or lunch appetite. Southern-style hospitality is on the forefront along with great service & reasonable prices. You'll love Russell's Marina Grill.

The pecan pie and corn bread amazing, must get! Shrimp and Grits good flavor but, our grits are not hot that's minus. Overall pleasant experience
FINALLY!!we got some really good service and some amazing sweet tea. We've been in new Orleans for 5 days and this spot had the best comfort food and the best Service. I got the country fried steak and mac and cheese with spinach. the mac and cheese was actually baked and still creamy. oh and i can not forget the GRIT CAKE! get the grit cake. i promise its the best thing i have tried in the south!
There are parking spaces outside and plenty of seating. The host and waitress were very courteous and attentive, and the restroom was clean. We had the alligator sausage for an appetizer and the sausage was okay but the remoulade it came with was excellent. My main was the BBQ Shrimp Benny (pictured). The dish had more shrimp than you get most places and the biscuits were perfect. The grits lacked flavor even with the sauce, but they were almost not necessary since the rest of the entree was filling. For dessert, we got the peanut butter chocolate pie and the bread pudding. The pie was thick and really satisfying. I've had better bread pudding but it's still worth a try.
