Wakin' Bakin'

Really wonderful experience here this morning- by far the best breakfast we’ve had during our visit to New Orleans! The Omelette was perfect, best one I’ve had in recent memory. The environment was warm, the service was friendly, and even the details- the fruit in the fruit cup was fresh and good. Will be returning! (Thanks for the great service, Emily!)

This is a wonderful spot to dine in a quaint and cozy environment. Let's start at the door upon first entering; the host and the waitstaff are exceptional. They make you feel like a king or a queen. The orange juice was fresh squeezed from oranges picked from Heaven's garden. The grits were the smoothest, creamiest, most flavorful grits I have ever eaten(including my own, which are made with butter, milk and love.) The food was cooked with love, I could taste it in every bite. I ordered the breakfast burrito with the works. I cannot say enough about the deliciousness of that meal. I wanted to ball up in a corner and hold myself after I ate. Do your taste buds a flavor and lighten the doorstep of this eatery and partake in the awesomeness of the service and the food.

Had an amazing meal! Everyone there was super friendly and even though I have some dietary restrictions, there were many options I could have had. I went with the build your own sandwich option. My friend had the jambalaya and biscuit. Very flavorful and worth the very reasonable price.
Cute place too. Fun pictures and atmosphere. Emily at the counter was super helpful and friendly. I DEFINITELY recommend this place.

One of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had. Ordered the shrimp and grits, added bacon confit and avocado. Plus the people are great and so is the coffee.
