Walker's BBQ

Best bbq hands down it sells out everyday after lunch, we told them we cant catch them before lunch crowd sells them out so they suggested calling in order with your name on it, perfect. They have back room inside picnic tables for dining really close to Gentilly or the East, right by the levee, great sides and everything's excellent. You know how some places have great bbq beans but cole slaw is slacking everything here is great with plenty of sides to choose from. We as locals suggest their brisket...

Got a pound of there burnt ends and large think there potato salad was a great meal excellent staff

Let me start by telling you that we woke up extremely early and waited for them to open so we could get our BBQ. This place make other BBQ restaurant look like a joke. Their BBQ is to die for, they literally sell out all their food by 1:00-2:00PM. You always get fresh food! The BBQ sauce, oh my, oh my! I feel like driving back to NOLA to get me some. You need to wake up early to catch them, because they’re not going to stay open once they sell out their food, and they sell out pretty fast. What are you waiting for? Nom-nom-nom!

Good service and great food. The brisket was pull apart tender. The pork was super tender. Some of the best ribs that I've had. Mustard greens were on point. Baked beans were finger licking good. I will be back soon, very, very soon.
