Williby's Catfish

Williby's Catfish met and exceeded my expectations. The place was clean and didn't smell like fish (even though its bread & butter is fresh catfish). The sides (mac & cheese, potato salad bread) was fantastic as well. I was completely satisfied with the overall experience, and would recommend and come back asap.

Spectacular NOLA take out. As you can see, the fish is really fresh. All the sides were delicious.

Great home cooked meals. Prices are very reasonable. Family oriented, love the service,very welcoming, food delectable, much giving for the price. They do take phone orders, parking available, wheelchair access, and orders to go only. I will be returning to this establishment.

I had a lovely chat with Mr. Williby, himself, while my food was being prepared, and I went home with a heavy bag of food (the portions are GREAT), and smile on my face. I got to see the catfish in their massive tank, and leaned a little about how they are raised and transported, live.

The fried catfish plate and crawfish 🦞 bisque were perfectly seasoned, and the bisque had a tiny little kick to it that I loved.

The neighborhood is lucky to be home to this great shop. Williby’s is more than a catfish store and restaurant, it’s an experience!
