Kravins Restaurant

Wow... Just wow. I read the reviews before passing thru on our way back to Dallas, SO glad we did! It is a fast food atmosphere, but seemed they are expanding to improve that, bit the food, oh the food was excellent. Our table had a bit of everything minus the burgers or salads. We just spent a week in Florida eating shrimp and fish and their Shrimp was great and the wings were juicy and full of flavor. The star of the table was without question the Cajun chicken tenders so amazing and the flavor was on point!

Passed by this spot hundreds of times, figured I'd try them today.
I know now why there is a sign saying "Check your food before you leave!" on the door.
I didn't.
I asked twice for a "5 piece jumbo shrimp combo".
I love shrimp!
I was served regular chicken wings.
Now I know why she asked "what flavor ?" :)
I was confused when she asked me that originally.
Fries and wings were good and fresh tho.

Great food! The jumbo shrimp was amazing with a great breading and sauce. The catfish was fall apart tender but still held together for dipping and the fries were some of the best. The only thing the kids didn't enjoy was the tenders since they are spicy but that is a parenting flaw of mine - not enough spicy food growing up :-)

Looks like they are adding a new covered patio area which will add a great element to the restaurant. The future is looking good for Kravins!
