Cheniere Shack

The catfish lunch comes with several very small pieces of fish. The dessert is a piece of mystery cake. Waitress was friendly and tried to do a good job. She could use a little training. Over all, average. I wouldn't go out of my way to stop but better than fast food

Chenier shack needs to update their online listing of hours . We drove 44 miles one way because my dad wanted to eat fried oysters. We arrived around 6ish only to find the doors locked and no one to be seen. We have eaten here before, but not my dad ,and we were very disappointed to say the least.

The service was friendly. The food didn’t take too long despite there only being one waitress doing her best. The portions were decent sized. My only complaint is the actual food. It didn’t taste bad, but it was all pretty bland. Not really what you would expect from "Cajun" food.

Good fòod, great service. It was my first time eating there. My wife and I enjoyed it very much!!

Husband got special shrimp boil, which was good, we are just used to more seasonings being from Maryland (Old Bay). I had salad with warm boiled shrimp and hard boiled egg. Iceburg lettuce but homemade roumalad dressing was great! Homemade pies and cakes we took to go. Still, nice place, but lean, hood food, nice staff and plenty of locals.
