    The food was good. Great prices. Our waiter was the happiest most hardworking little man I have seen in a while. We didn't get the shrimp or limes we asked for (chicken and lemon instead). Not sure if they were out or if it was a language barrier issue.

    The food here was amazing! We were so tired at the end of a very long day on the road and it was late and we all ordered the chicken soup, which is not a typical order for any of us. But it was the most flavorful soup I've ever had! We also had fresh guacamole with fresh baked wheat chips that were delicious.

    This place is really good authentic Mexican food! The restaurant is clean and beautifully painted. They also have a nice patio and great drinks. I would definitely go back if I ever went to Monroe again.

    Absolutely one of the nicest restaurants in this area! The furniture and decorations and hand painted art on the walls provide a Mexican atmosphere.
    My daughter invited me for mothers day and not only was the food great and plentiful the staff was friendly and service was fast and they gave each mother a cup cake. I love dining in El Jarrito
