To the previous person: I work a gas station. Did you ever contact the manager, or attempt to? If you never made the manager aware of the situation, and if you never complained to her about the situation, there isn't much she is (logically) responsible for, other than the fact that this person is employed at the store.
Did you get charged twice; did she steal money from you? On occasion, someone will tell us to put gas on a certain pump number, and then, after we set it and they pay, they'll come back in and tell us that we put it on the wrong pump. In your case, you may have just started pumping before she could fix the issue. It does happen, and I'm sure that during the day it's a very hectic time for the cashier. This doesn't excuse the person from being over-the-top about it, of course, but it's not actually as suspicious as you think. (She also could have been a new employee who made the simple mistake I just described to you.) Please calm down and consider that not everyone is out to get you.
IF, however, you DID get charged twice for the $10, let. the. manager. know. The manager is not able to watch his/her employees every moment of every day. Sometimes, people hire idiots. Sometimes they hire scammers. Sometimes, it takes a while for them to realize this, but if you immediately go over his/her head, you are causing unnecessary drama, for the manager, instead of for that specific employee.
