Trapp's

First time, had lunch, not bad.
Our server was very nice and provided great service. All the staff seemed busy taking care of the customers, no standing around - not shorthanded, just very prompt and efficient service.
Overall not a bad place, I'm not a seafood fan so I probably wouldn't go back, but I enjoyed my food. Also, had fried crawdad for the first time. Surprisingly good.

The food was great, but I can't say the same for the service. I've NEVER been to a place that made me feel like I was bothering them when asking for the basics. Because our waitress was more interested in helping everyone but us, I had to flag anyone down that could assist. I saw her so little, I forgot what she looks like.
Our appetizer (fried crawfish tails) came out cold, but the hot ones that we received from another server were good. Our food finally came from our waitress. I ordered red beans and rice. She gave me gumbo. I had to flag her down to get what I ordered. NORMALLY, when people don't want to deal with you, they at least give you your ticket in a timely manner. Nope, I had to flag her down for that and a to go container as well.
After finally getting an additional container (because what she initially brought me was too small). I asked for a bag, and she told me to pick one up at the front. Needless to say, considering the fact that I'm the one that normally leaves the tip, my husband left the small bills of his change on the table. The food was good though 🤷🏾‍♀️.

The Food was so good, prices not bad, we didn’t have to wait to be seated and the service was amazing!!!!! The young man that served us was very polite and was very quick to tend to anything we needed. You can sit outside overlooking the water or inside for more of a low key setting but, I recommend this place if you want good service and good food ! A+++

I met a friend at Trapp's for lunch. It was very crowded, but we got our food quickly. Our server was a young lady & she was so nice! Prices for lunch specials are great. I will try beef tips next week!
