I've been eating here for over a year and i can say that this is probably one of the most authentic Mexican eateries in the area. The staff are welcoming but the food is the real deal. The dining area is not fancy but true to what you see in Mexico. I've lived in San Diego and travelled up & down the coast and dining at Caro's feels like you are on the coast. I see many of the locals have figured it out and now its hard to find a seat during lunch. Overall its highly recommended and although they don't sell Margaritas, they are giving local Mexican restaurants a run for their money.
