Quebedeaux's Boudin & Cracklins

Driving back home to OKC and we found this Hidden little spot with delicious boudin!! The fried catfish platter and shrimp was hot fresh and very 😋 tasty! The girls at the counter were super friendly and helpful to us first timers! I would highly recommend trying this place out! The chicken and pork cracklins are also delicious especially with some hot sauce 😃

It was a little wait, but when I tell you the wait was worth it's time in gold. The boudain and cracklings took me back down memory lane. Amazing culture coming out of this kitchen. Getcha some it's a soul check up... Absolutely Love it...

The lunch special, chicken fried steak was delicious. I loved every bite. But my friend ordered a shrimp plate & it was so salty & over cooked she could not eat it. So we won't order that again.

Quebedeaux’s on MacArthur in Alexandria, LA is as good or better than their name reflects. Great staff at the counter who were patient with me as a first timer, God love ‘em. Let me just say, the Pepper Jack and the Cream Cheese Boudin Balls were the BOMB-DOT-COM. Wow. They’ll make your heart go pitter patter. The red beans and rice? I bought two 24oz containers to go because I don’t know when I’ll be down this way again and it was THAT good. The prices were VERY reasonable and the young staff knew their food. Once you try this place, you’ll regret you didn’t try it sooner. Most restaurants don’t warrant me leaving a review as a lot of them are “ho-hum” in quality and service, but Quebedeaux’s is a GEM.

Quebedeaux's has become one of my absolutely favorite restaurants, period! Every single meal has been delicious! You can tell this food doesn't come out of a box or bag but is freshly made with personal attention. The staff is first-rate and the decor is very entertaining. I can't recommend Quebedeaux's enough!
