Red river seafood & sushi

I want to give this place another opportunity to be impressive. But I think they’ve got an uphill climb to get there. The sushi is wonderful. However the lunch special was mediocre, and boxy at best. Oddest things are the raisins in the Cole-slaw (I thought only northerners did that), the clash of sports bar table cards and Bro-Country on the radio, and the Oriental decor and menu items. I believe this place has a touch of split personality - and it could pull it off IF the food is Outstanding. Today’s was not.

We love the location in Pineville, so we couldn't wait for this one to open!
My favorite is the cole slaw! Best in Louisiana! Great variety of delicious food on the menu...great prices & sweet service!

It's a pay-first-and-then-service place. It's something people aren't used to. Not even me.

My "tip" of advice is (if you do dine-in)--yes pay your total first, but do NOT tip until you are done dining.

Service was good, but it's the kind of service you'll have to get someone's attention for anything you need.

The food was good, and the portions are huge. The downside is the price on everything.

The atmosphere was clean, and it resembled more of a diner or a poboy express than a grill/ sushi bar.

I went though the drive thru and tried the chicken fettuccine today. It came with galic toast, with salad, or coleslaw. The portion size is enormous and is delicious.
