First time there, really nice first impression experience. Food was delightfully good. Probably the best house side salad I've had in I can't remember when! Both of us really enjoyed our entrees and the portions were generous enough without being overboard. Service was good once we got seated and a litmus for me, the bathrooms are really clean and decent!
I remember when spirits first opened & I loved their spinach dip. I went here with a large group over the weekend and our server, Mrs Jackie took GREAT care of all 18 of us while waiting three other large groups. Service did move a little slower, but there was live music and a great deal of people in the restaurant, so it was expected. The drinks and food tasted as well as they were presented. For seafood however, I would recommend letting them know if you desire it cooked at a different wellness, as this isn’t often thought of. I see why they’ve lasted throughout the years, I’ll make sure I return the next time I’m in town!
Tonight was my 2nd time reserving for birthday parties and we had the same waiter. I wish I had gotten his name, but he is excellent. Our experience was great both times and I will continue to choose Spirits!
Stop by while driving to New Orleans. We wanted something more than fast food. Google recommended this location. We were delighted with the atmosphere, service, and food. Although the building looked great from outside, it seemed out of place in that area. So please don't get discouraged by the neighborhood as you drive through. It was worth the time. One more thing, they had pay by phone at the table, which was a nice feature.
Ashley was amazing. My first time to Louisiana. She explained what things were and how spicy. The pimento cheese board is so yummy. Then I had the knob burger. It was all very good. It's good I don't live here... They would have to roll me out.lol.
