I was very impressed with the quality of the wait staff. The waitress made it a point to make eye contact with me and check on how our party was doing, also kept us updated on the status of our order while we were waiting. I ordered sushi and it was good. Very reasonably priced. I will definitely be eating here again.

The food is great. For example the vocano role isn't bad at all. Also if you like squid get the squid steak it's a whole squid. The rice, noodles, and sushi are great. If you get their sushi at night, which they close at 9:30AM, the sushi will be good next morning for lunch it's great. Can't complain about this place if you want a good and filling meal before going home and sleeping this is the place for you. Soup is great. It's really a good thing to start out with and maybe request 2 it's just great. Their service is polite and greeting. So it's a 5 STAR.

The nearest Japanese Restaurant from Hopedale Marina, where we stayed for fishing. I had not expected the authentic nor creative dishes from here, only decent, fresh ingredients would be enough.

The sashimi starter was correct. The eel bowl served in a plate with mango and seaweed salad was fine. But surprisingly the mushroom soup was delightful, rich in aroma with generous real mushrooms in nice clear soup. I am - as a mushroom fan and soup geek- very impressed.

Good food with fresh sea food.
The dining room has no windows do you will be storm proof inside.
The mushroom soup is very good.
The shrimp bento lunch box is generous with a good portion of rolls, a soup, a salad and a large portion of vegetable and jumbo shrimp tempura plus two fried dumplings.
No thrill but good and filling.

Its decent Sushi. Better then other places in Chalmette but not as good as other sushi restaurants in the city. #Geauxeat
