    Quick and convenient. Got some fried chicken tenders that were very well seasoned too!

    Great seafood -- at a convenience store!

    Those are words I NEVER thought I would use in the same sentence. Yes, some large chains have made great strides with food. But this local treasure features a wide array of fried seafood poboys, plates and platters that will match or better any rival on freshness, quality and price. My 12-inch, fully dressed fish poboy was a delicious blend of hot, slightly-spicy fried fish, soft and fresh French bread and cool lettuce, tomatoes and conditions. Each bit was flavor-filled and seafood-laden. And all for ~$8 -- compare that with $10-$16 for other nearby options.

    Friends nearby swear by many other dishes, and I'm going to try lots more of them on up coming area visits.
