Food was great! Between my cousin and I we had corn bites, alligator nuggets, hush puppies, gumbo, red beans and rice, jambalaya and catfish (we wanted to try a little of everything lol) No complaints, everything was delicious and service was excellent.

Better than OK. It would have been 4 but the seafood steak thing is way below the standard set by their other offerings. Gumbo was meaty and flavorful. Andouille sausage was delicious, house-made buns were wonderful.
We are glad we stopped in!

This is a down home sort of place. Not fancy, but bright. The dining area is adjacent to the store front. Lots of parking. The server was friendly and efficient. The food came quickly and was good. We purchased their house brand hot sauce to take with us, after using with our meal, delicious. We also wanted tarts to take out with us and though the display case was empty, we inquired and got them hot from the oven!

We ate here back in May after a glowing recommendation from the staff at Laura Plantation. We tried the alligator bites as a table (delicious) and I ordered the grilled frog legs and they were absolutely one of the best meals I've had in five regular years of visiting Louisiana. I ended up eating the leftovers for breakfast the next morning (my birthday) and they were just as good cold out of the fridge.

Would visit again, every time.
