Oh my WORD. Best onion rings I’ve had in a looooong time. Food was excellent. The French bread was a little too dense for me but otherwise GREAT food!
I’ve only lived in LaPlace for 5 years, but I still drive 6 hours to eat there when I visit my family. The food is so great and I will remember the taste of the burgers and crawfish Monica forever. The staff is great and so is the food. Five stars for more than five years of incredible, delicious food.
I was craving a good old fashioned frost top root beer so I pulled in . I also ordered a crabmeat sandwich . While I’m waiting I see a king cake shake ad . So I got a small one . It looked so yummy I couldn’t resist . Well the shake came quickly so I drank it in about one minute because it was so amazing delicious. I couldn’t lift my lips from the straw . I drank it continuous like I was drinking from a bottle . It was gone . And I was wishing I had just ordered a large king cake shake with added whip cream instead of everything else . I was addicted within a second . So I can’t fairly judge everything else compared to that shake . But I will say , I did enjoy everything I ordered and it was nice to have that root beer after so long . ( I’ll be going back for that large king cake shake with whip cream and Mardi Gras sprinkles ! It’s only around for Mardi Gras thank goodness !!! ????)
This place is great. Consistent food with some of the best onion rings around. And the best thing is they still make banana splits.
Pretty good burger and onion rings. I dont classify this restaurant as fast food because your food is cooked to order and it takes a while. I ordered a Lot-o-burger and onion rings and it must've taken 29 minutes but both were piping hot when I got them. The old lady behind the counter, bless her heart, is soooooo slow but I guess she's not ready to be put out to pasture just yet. All in all good food and a good experience.
