Love the crswfish bisque! Wonderful, just like my Momma’s! Gotta go here every Friday just for the crawfish bisque ! Heads are stuffed with crawfish meat, not filled with bread filling!

Food and service were very good. Server had great knowledge of menu which was very helpful!

Momma Jo's has all the heart you would want from down home Louisiana. Nestled just off the interstate this little hideaway is big on flavor and huge on personality! Upon arrival we were greeted by Momma Jo herself. You'll certainly be able to tell who she is. She has a big personality and even bigger smile.
The food itself represents Momma Jo with big flavors and home style portions. Serving two types of beans for her bean and rice dishes she gave us a small sample. The red beans bolstered spice and heartyness. The white were aromatic and savory. Both were a good choice for the meal. The rest of the meal of fried pork chop and sausage stood their ground offering hearty seasoning in a way that will make you call home.
We look forward to returning on our next trip through. Maybe after dinner I'll just sit in one of Momma Jo's rocking chairs and enjoy a glass of her Ghetto punch.

What can I say! It tastes like grandma's. The customer service was as amazing as the absolutely awesome incredible food. I'm from the area, just moved back. In our group, we had fried shrimp, crawfish bisque, smothered okra with seafood and smothered potatoes/porkchop. Simply divine, a must have.

Breakfast was so good I didn't get a chance to take a picture of the plate lol! My husband ate too fast.
