Wayne Jacob's Smokehouse

I have family in Metairie who introduced me to this place while I was visiting several years ago. I've been ordering from them and having products shipped to Kansas City ever since. I had an order that was missing an item and had a defective seal on another and when I called to discuss, the person I spoke to said she'd ship me replacements when the next batch comes out of the smoker. Very satisfied with ease in handling issue and response and of course the sausage and gumbo base is amazing! Can't get anything remotely similar up here in Kansas City.

This is our first time visit the restaurant. The food was good. But we didn't have a good luck with our waitresses. We understand it was the lunch hour on Sunday, but she even refilled our waters cups at all. My husband has to ask for the rest of His food because she forgot it. Anyway we recommend the food. They also sell other products like sausage for you to cook.

The selection is nice for lunch. The quality is excellent. The prices were more than i would usually spend for lunch, but the flavor was very good. The service was a little Ditzy, and had to ask three times for a drink while waiting for food.
I did purchase frozen sausage to go, and their Garlic Sausage was a ten. I would recommend and come again.

First time back here since moving back to the area. Wayne Jacob's did not disappoint. It's been over 15 years since I've been here last and everything I got was better than I remember.
Smoked meat in the hoghead cheese, WOW MIND BLOWN! Everything thing I got today just had a deeper smoke taste. Best smoke meats in Laplace by far!

Oh My Goodness folks a real smoke house that still does things the old ways! The flavor is superb and the Ladies that were here on Sunday are the nicest most helpful I have met !
You won't be disappointed here with the food or service it's the best in the world!
