Lee's Cajun Cuisine

I lived in the area over 16 years ago and intended to visit more but life got in the way. Fast forward to now, living in Texas and my husband gets a random job in the area for a week. I wasn't able to come with him sadly, but wanted him to enjoy the best food while he was here. He's less tech savvy (bless his sweet heart) than I am so I downloaded Waitr all the way here in Texas and ordered him yalls shrimp po boy, fries and the jalapeño coleslaw and had it delivered to his hotel. April was the Waitr driver (thank you April!) and promptly dropped his food off. He said it was still really warm and extremely delicious! Even though you weren't open when I lived there, you still absolutely represented the food that I wholeheartedly miss. So, from the bottom of my super jealous heart.... thank you!

Was a little unsure given the look of the place since they are currently under construction but the food was great and very tasty. We had jambalaya, hangover burger, dirty bird and boudin balls. All really good and super filling.

Top tier! I had the Hangover Burger and it was fire! Loved it! And the sauce that came with the Boudin Balls appetizer was something special and addictive! Thanks!!

The food is absolutely delicious! I have yet to have anything from there that was not delicious! I recommend the dirty bird chicken sandwich! it would beat out any other chicken sandwich in a contest! The prices are reasonable and in quantity and quality you get even more than you pay for.

I really hope this restaurant goes far. My family and I will absolutely be return customers. The food here is hands down unbeatable for the local area. The quality of the food was PERFECT as well as the portions. Their food is definitely a "save that for later " portion. In my opinion it is 100% worth the money. The customer service was great. We were greeted by the drive-thru attendant with a smile and a menu. She was knowledgeable and gave us a great opinion on her personal favorites as we were first timers, but not last timers. If anyone in the Opelousas area or farther is looking for a great locally owned restaurant this is the place to go. And to further the "locally owned" part... the owner is a Veteran! I am happy to be in support of this up and coming restaurant. Shopping local positively impacts our local community and I definitely encourage everyone to try this restaurant out. You will not be disappointed in the flavor!
