One of the best things about living in the south is the food . This is a fine example of south Louisiana culinary art at it best. The seafood gumbo is as it should be , it tastes like seafood. The meal came with a loaf of bread that was topped with a garlic hot sauce . The crawfish enchilada is really good. The boudin balls had cream cheese or something in the middle ,there a must order .
I find myself jonesing for their fresh gulf shrimp. I buy two plates when , I go there - one to eat in their clean, Cajun atmosphere and one for the road. As an added bonus, they feature some really nice artwork for sale.
Nice atmosphere. Best fried pickles we've ever eaten. Char-grilled ribeye was very good. Crab cakes with crawfish sauce was way to salty. Our waiter was very impatient and not attentive.
Good and service was amazing.. the "store/ market staff was just as attentive and my waitress.. got some shrimp and Alfredo sauce to cook at camper tomorrow.. also snagged the CT cook book and 2 seasonings.
The best place to eat, hands down. Large variety of dishes & many unique dishes. The owner's Johnny & Wendy Hebert, are the most gracious hosts & aim to please.
