We had a birthday happy hour at Covington Beer Garden on a Saturday afternoon. George’s attention to detail and prompt response in setting up the event set the tone for an awesome event, and it was made even more special by setting up a few rounds of private trivia. The bartenders were very attentive and friendly, and the chicken nachos were objectively some of the best we’ve ever had. We will be back for sure and highly recommend considering Covington Beer Garden for your next event.
We had our 40th high school reunion here. It was a great venue. We opened our own tab at the full bar. There was a small menu of unique food items. I recommend it for gathering of 40-50 people or so. Maybe more.
Nice place in downtown Covington. This is a place that would entice me to visit Covington more often.
The craft beer selection was pretty good but could be greatly improved. Wish they offered more rare beers. No stouts were on tap.
The food was ok. The pretzel bombs were not that good but the porkadilla was better.
The outdoor seating area was really nice.
One of the places on my to go list.
Right next to the Covington trailhead gives it an excellent location. Even if parking is a bit scarce.
While the food here is slightly expensive... Ex same price as 5 guys for a hamburger ( no fries) it's was surprisingly good with its own unique flavor
There is no tsble service here. However staff is friendly and almost every one served with a smile which is rare.
Very nice asthetic here. Even outside there's tables with heating elements and even a little fireside area for a cozy area to chat with family and friends
The pretzel bites were also great... However I dunno why honey mustard is chosen. I've never cared for mustard dip on pretzel... Imo a cheese dip is a better choice.
Will definitely be visiting again
This place has it all! Prime location in the heart of the booming downtown Covington area! It’s not just a beer garden, it’s a bar and grill with hand squeezed cocktails, tons of beers on tap, wine, and delicious fresh frozen drinks to complete the lineup! It gets better…their smash burgers are the best I’ve ever had as well as their hand-cut french fries that are fried in some amazing godly batter with delicious dipping sauce options!
TVs and speakers everywhere for all the big games, corn-hole, and huge outdoor sitting areas. Fun for the whole family!
This is your new favorite place to be on the Northshore! George, the owner, has thought of it all!!!
