Yum!! New name but still same ole great service along with food and drink!! Death by chocolate was killer! My bestie and I shared all the entries and had some bubbly as well!! Service was wonderful, fun hype atmosphere! Cheers 🥂
We were there during the soft opening 3 weeks after reopening. We asked for a booth, and even though there were 3 booths that were recently vacated, it probably took them about 10 min to clear the table. The waitress told us she was new, she was slow to get our order. Two tables who had come in before us had their order taken before us. My crab appetizer had shells in it, so I took points off for that. I would not order that again. I didn't like the charcuterie board. Just not my favorite cheeses and meats. I tried hubby's short rib gravy fries and didn't care for those either. Hubby liked his pork chop sandwich. I agree with another reviewer that the lunch menu could be tweaked. The remodel looks good. Although I can't really tell what they changed, it does look better. Just wasn't a great experience.
Would have been 4 stars except... All started great, friendly bartender, knowledge about the beer. He gave me a list of cocktails to choose from since I'm not a beer person. He also let me know that he could make me anything just to let him know. Nice atmosphere, friendly people sitting at bar.
So here's the sad part - while sitting at the bar people watching my husband and I observed the one bartender eating the sliced fruit and licking her fingers afterwards. Not once but a couple times. Licking her fingers then grabbing another slice of fruit She also continued running her fingers through her hair and playing with it. All fine except for the fact she never washed her hands, ever!!! Then went into the kitchen to grab plates of food and deliver to a table. There were other workers around and not one said a word to her, like a friendly reminder to wash her hands. It really put a damper on the end of our day. Such a nice place, but yet my opinion ruined by one person.
Otherwise- one of the best bloody marys I've ever had. Great idea of crumbled bacon around the rim of the glass. My husband enjoyed their beers also.
The food is really good and the service. We had pumpkin seed crusted trout and BBQ chicken breast with asparagus and roasted sweet potatoes mash. Had the Cuban cocktail with coconut. Very bitter.
What an amazing experience! The menu was fresh, innovative and of the highest quality. Typically at breweries the food lacks or it's mediocre due to the attention being put on the beer. Not this place! The food and beer were of equal quality. Just go and give it a try. P.S. John was or server and he made the experience that much better! 🙌🏼
