(July 2, 2020, 2:32 am)I had the brisket plate and it satisfied my need for southern bbq which is rare in this seafood nation. Prices were up due to covid but other than that the food was good and the folks were kind.

(July 1, 2020, 10:54 pm)My daughter heard about this restaurant. We drove from New Orleans East to Slidell. The food was worth the drive, ribs,cornbread, collard greens,macaroni and the yams, WAS SO SWEETLY SATISFYING. THIS WON'T BE MY LAST TIME ORDERING FROM "PAPA'S BACKYARD BBQ. YUMMY.
