El Paso Mexican Grill - Pontchartrain

I initially went to Pedro's tacos and tequila bar near Walmart, but I left. Another couple and I waited to be seated, but no one acknowledged us, so we left. All the workers were by the bar just talking and looking. I'm glad I left and found this little gem. I wanted some birria tacos and a margarita. Let me say El Paso Mexican Grill did not disappoint me. They were delicious!!! I also enjoyed the chips, salsa, and bean dip. The food came out rather quick and yes, it was a slow night, but they did not skip on the quality of food I was served. It was hot and all quite detectable. The hostess and waitress (Lesly) were both very kind. Fyi: The waitress informed me that they have a live band on Thursday and karaoke too. I definitely will be back to try more on the menu and enjoy the live band, too. Don't let the outside fool you and pass them by, I almost did and sure glad I did not. I recommend you give them a try!

This place was seriously so good. We had the Trio fajitas, I had a pineapple jalapeño margarita and the hubs had a coors. My drink was AMAZING and the food was very good. If you don't try this place you are missing out.
