El Patron Mexican Grill - Slidell

The restaurant is very modern and very nice. They provided chips and salsa. I ordered the Texas fajitas. The portion was ample. The tortillas were freshly made and very delicious. The fajitas were very flavorful. Sometimes when I have ordered fajitas they are bland. These fajitas were very delicious. They were full of flavor. The dish included steak, chicken, and shrimp. Uruel did a great job. He was very attentive. Thank you for a great meal.

We had a great time. There are a number of unique menu items that you don't find just anywhere. Our server was friendly and quick. She answered all of our questions. The food was fantastic. Prices are reasonable. It was a little loud because there was a live band (Wednesdays and Fridays) but it was fun.

The kids and I decided to take my husband here for his birthday this past weekend. The service was fast, staff was friendly, and the food was delicious!! We enjoyed it so much that we went back the next day for a “Day Date”. Our waiter, “Lolo” from the day before recognized us and asked about the kids. Was not expecting him to remember us but shout out, he did! But anyway back to my experience, the Margaritas and Pina Colada’s was amazing not to mention the nachos, taco salad, and fries. Highly recommend!!

That’s almost a meal so be careful with ordering too much.
I also had the cheese and chicken enchiladas. They were good as well.

I had the liquid Mari-Jane and tasted the balance of sweetness and alcohol.

The menu is a bit overloaded for woman like me who never know what to pick 😂 but by the time our waiter came to the table I was able to make a decision.

We’ve been a couple of times now, and each time everything was fantastic. This is the best Mexican restaurant in Slidell. The chilaquiles were top notch, and the street corn is an amazing shareable appetizer for the table. The house margarita is $10 and better than the top shelf anywhere in town.

Call and ask what different theme nights they have coming up. This is a great addition to
Slidell.
