Jamaican and Honduran Restaurant

I brought 2 oxtail dinners a jerk chicken dinner and 2 beef patties. Everything was awesome and I can't wait to return. Buying more than 2 beef patties next time. Do fret about the prices believe me there worth it. Awesome place to spend my money with pleasure. Dont forget about the homemade tortillas delicious too

Super friendly owners. We weren't sure what to pick, so he made suggestions, and we took him up on them. We had the oxtail, jerk chicken, and chicken stew (and a Jamaican bread/rum cake that was strong but yummy). Everything we had was tasty. It was spicy, but not make you cry spicy. I would definitely recommend. Especially if you're looking for something other than fried seafood..

I’ve been going to Johnny’s food truck for a long time. I was happy to hear he opened a restaurant in Slidell. I drove from New Orleans to support and I was, of course, not disappointed. Very good food.

I stumbled upon this place looking for Jamaican food. Wanted to travel a little further out and was led here. I have absolutely NOOOOOOO regrets. The atmosphere was so relaxing as if you were visiting Jamaican and Honduran relatives. The owners are so invited. The food is everything! The food is so good that it can absolutely be addictive. I ordered the veggie plate with a vegetable pattie with a ginger drink. I was extremely full but kept eating. It was so good that I ordered a plate to go. I couldn't believe how good the food was. I will definitely be back. I want to also try the Honduran food but will definitely need help with the menu.

The food was very superb and I would rate it 5 stars. Very large potion sizes. Although it took a while for the food to arrive because they were making it from scratch, it was totally worth it. It was fresh, rich in flavor and very delicious especially the oxtail and the beef patties.
