Johnson's Kitchen

Everything is really nice and clean. Staff were very friendly, inviting and attentive. I have a seafood allergy and they took special precautions. I appreciated that the most. I will definitely be back! Made the trip from New Orleans worth while.

I didn't take my leftovers, so....
I enjoyed the sweet potatoes and I don't usually eat sweet potatoes. These weren't overly syrupy. The red beans needed more salt, and the fish had the underbelly taste. It was a plenty food for the price. Next time I'd try wings.
We also had some sort of dip with cheese and shrimp. I don't usually eat shrimp either, but I liked this.
So I guess Johnson's Kitchen transforms food i don't eat into food i will. 😊

My family was traveling to Texas from Florida for my son's graduation from BMT and we found this Gem..We met the owner who was VERY welcoming and courteous. I tried the Smothered okra with chicken, sausage and shrimp. OMG..My taste buds went crazy!!! It was so delicious and seasoned to perfection. My family tried the chicken tenders, hot wings and fries. Everyone said it was the best they've ever had. I have always wanted to try authentic Louisiana food and for my first time this restaurant did NOT disappoint!! If you're ever in the area definitely add this restaurant as one of your stops.

Great little hidden gem down Pumpkin Center Rd. Less than a 1/2 mile from the interstate. Local, family owned eatery. Staff was very friendly and super helpful. Food was great, a little pricey but everything we had was fantastic. Limited seating, but the place was very clean and neat. Will definitely be back!

I have heard, such amazing reviews and my mom and I finally got to come and try it. I love the family friendly atmosphere, it is very clean and a 5 star quality atmosphere. We will be back! New Family Favorite
