    The food was pretty good. The shrimp batter was very tasty. The catfish was ok. The gumbo was filling. I wish they stayed open longer. More hours and a larger menu. Besides that the stop was good

    Stuffed boneless chicken thighs wrapped in bacon you can't go wrong brisket sandwich was delicious

    Omg so good lol! Best home cook food I had in a while. I will highly recommend this place to everyone!

    My first experience at Podnah's Cajun Cooking & Specialty Meats was very positive. The atmosphere is very welcoming and warm. While it is not a restaurant, the dining room is large enough to accommodate many guests for lunch and breakfast. There is a wide variety of both fresh and frozen meats to purchase.

    I tried the Boubin Eggroll with Pepperjack Cheese and it was absolutely DELICIOUS!!!! While I've never had a boudin eggroll before, this absolutely worked well. The chicken cracklings were better than expected, very well seasoned, and melted in my mouth as I ate them. The pork cracklings were a but tough and chewy though.

    I cannot wait to try their hamburgers and plate lunches the next time I'm in the area. The staff was very friendly and welcoming as well. If you're in the Houma area, give them a try!
