American Dream. Driving from Florida to Nevada and back, we stopped here on the recommendation of Lake Bistineau State Park where we were staying. We were told it recently changed owners and to check it out. Wow, were we impressed. We ordered our late lunch and watched as the new family of owners wiped tables, filled shakers, priced store items and greeted customers with a smile and hug!!! As small business owners ourselves, we were very impressed with the effort this family is putting in, to fit in. The food was very good and the waitress professional and friendly. And maybe it's the country girl living in the city that loves the old gas pumps outside and the steady stream of locals, police and firefighters coming in with their small daughters on their hips to pick out a soda and bag of chips. A gem.
Love their cheese burgers.
Good got a 5 piece catfish w/coleslaw & fries! Cooked to order was fresh and hot!
Don't let the appearance fool ya. The service and food was really good. Grilled chicken sandwich was cooked perfect.
Tina's Kitchen was straight up good. I came in starving and left out stuffed. My burger was so big, thick, and loaded my jaws got tired eating it, but it was so good I couldn't stop. Fries were fried just right and complimented the meal perfectly. If you down that way and wanna get a good meal, stop by and get full.
