Steak with mashed potatoes w/2 breads and free hush puppies delicious. My favorite out to eat there
Food is great, prices are reasonable, staff is friendly and the atmosphere is comfortable. Will return.
If you want good food and best waitress with the kindness people with a good warm hearts always welcome you with a smile.
So if your around Spring Hill La just drive a little ways down the road. They open at 5 pm - on Thursday, thru Saturday nights. Enjoy your day.
Had my hopes up for this place, almost did not stay cause it took so long to get seated. Jokingly mentioned the Christmas decorations still being up, the lady behind the counter said the lady who put them up did not have time to come take them down. Sorry to say this, but not only was she standing there looking at the phone - on two other occasions that night the manager was sitting in the lobby and other waitresses standing there. Someone had time on their hands in my opinion to take some decorations down.
Food was ok ~ salad - ehh, probably from a bag ~ bean soup ~ did not touch it ~ got the all you can eat shrimp - fried shrimp, had better at Dorothys down the road ~ grilled shrimp ~ these were very tasty and about the only redeeming item that night. The onion rings were a brown glob that fell apart if you prodded them to much. I just stacked my shrimp tails on them.
Maybe it was an off night as this was my first visit ever there. They were a little busy I guess, even though the tables were every other due to COVID separation. If it had been a full night with patrons at every table I would still be hesitant to make excuses for them.
Offering a plus, we had a wonderful young lady that kept our drinks full and grilled shrimp flowing.
Very good fish. The hush puppies were fantastic.
