“Sam's is a great place to eat. We ordered the four piece catfish and we got five pieces and when we got our drinks to go they came out with these huge to-go cups! The staff is patient and considerate. The top of the ketchup bottle wasn't screwed on properly and when my sister went to get some it got everywhere. The staff handled this well and our server was able to clean it up and quickly replaced it with a new bottle. I really appreciate the staff's hard work, and the lovely atmosphere they create. Definitely recommend!”

“If you want delicious down home cooking, go to Alicia's Kitchen! The food was served up quick, hot, fast, and came out tasting like grandma's Sunday dinner. It was enough on my plate that I left full just like I would leave Grandma's house. In addition to the classic southern east, they've got some great lunch time grabs with their loaded nachos and taco soups. Very good place to take your family or to drop in and grab a quick bite. “Johnny's pizza will always be special to me as a LA Tech grad. This was THE pizza joint in Ruston, for good reason. We used to come to this location in Minden when I was younger. It's the closest one to us. Easy to get in and out of, pretty fast for a pizza joint, but slower than fast food. Much better too though. You can't really miss with the menu. Just close your eyes and point. It will be good. The cheese sticks are great too if you want an appetizer. Or just eat them as the meal. Either works.”

“The restaurant was very clean and the customer service was great! Ordered the 4 piece fish plate with Cole slaw, fries, hush puppies for $8.49. it did not come with a drink. That was $2 extra. That was no problem either. The fish was hot and fried golden ????. However it was no seasoning on it whatsoever. Taste like fish served in the hospital perhaps. First time in Minden and first time eating there.. Would have given 5 stars if the fish wasn't bland. However, I did try my partners shrimp.. it was better than the fish. Maybe if you order something else besides the fish then you may like it.”
