It's just a cute quaint place with good American breakfasts.

The service isn't amazing. We came in (all masked) after work on a Saturday for lunch (1:15) and a larger lady tried to discourage us from coming in, saying the food was going to take too long. Every service interaction with her after that was exceptionally unfriendly. We had wanted to sit outside at one of the many open tables and she made us sit in the back. My coworker wanted a sweet tea and she made a big fuss about how it was going to take 20 minutes to make.
The gumbo was excellent and so was the etouffee.

Delicious food I personally had the Club sandwich with sweet potatoe fries! Cozy little restaurant with nice workers!

Really good food for a modest price. Fresh salad and excellent ice tea. Ordered fried fish over rice and served shortly thereafter. The fish had just the right amount of spice. Topping off the meal was a helping of Swamp Pie. This frozen dessert was enough for two. We invited friends to meet us there because we like the food and the service. We definitely will be back soon.

Relaxed friendly atmosphere with good service and comfort food. I had the grilled cheese and gumbo with a side of sweet potato fries, it ended up being more food than I could eat! I guess everyone's idea of a dinner sized meal varies a bit :). It just means I'll have gumbo and some fries for lunch tomorrow. Very crowded during my visit and everyone seemed happy and welcoming.
