Misty Meadows Organic Farm

If it wasn’t for Google Map, we would have driven past Misty Meadows. It’s not much to look at from the road, but inside is a different story.

After we ordered lunch, there were lots of unique gifts, memorabilia and edibles to peruse throughout the building in themed rooms while our meal was being prepared.

About ordering lunch, we were warned about large portions. My wife’s small salad was substantial. I went with the plain burger. The other end of the spectrum was a burger that must be half a foot tall.

Our meals were well-prepared, no complaints.

Menu tip: When you order a burger, you must order French fries separately. But then, toward the end of the meal, they served us a surprise slice of apple pie.

Decided to take a drive from camp and explore some back roads. Found this sweet down home place. It was full of country charm, great food, friendly people, and even a resident dog. There was also abundant local handmade items, bakery, and camp necessities. Ya never know what you're going to find when you hit the country roads! Fun!

Destined to become a regular stop for trail riding! Fantastic food and terrific people. This place is must for your snowmobile bucket list.

Oh my, if you are into farming, farm food, good food, fresh food - this is the place to go! We travel to the region often and we just love this place. Staff is warm and friendly, place is clean AND the food is fresh - and they give you a lot! Want to play tractor checkers? They have that too. If you bring your wife, you may have to hold on to your wallet, the gift shop is awesome - a lot of farm centric items including fresh jams, baked goods and eggs, including duck eggs! Visit and enjoy!

There is only one negative for me, they close for the winter :(

One of a kind resturant! You have to come and eat here! Home cooked country feel! Gift shop, animals! You name it! Great place to bring your kids and family. Open End of April till End of September. Open 7 days a week. 7-3 p.m. Breakfast and lunch.
