Governor's Restaurant & Bakery

We enjoyed very good food here. Blueberry beet salad, maple chicken poutine, and fried pickles are pictured. All very good. Have to say that the poutine is just a bit too sweet. But it is an appetizer and not meant as a meal. The wait staff served us with a smile and all were very friendly. I would definitely go back.

Great place to eat. Appetizers are great. The Lobster Roll is phenomenal. The sauce that comes the onion rings can be used for everything! It's such a great sauce. I even request it for breakfast to go with my homefries.

Great place to eat in this small town! Breakfast, lunch or dinner. Oh & dessert!
The staff was super friendly and the food was really good & always hot. We had a large group (6 or more) every time we went & they always were great.
If you need gluten free or have dietary restrictions they have a binder that lists everything each recipe has in it. That was really helpful for my wife!
The chocolate cream pies and other desserts were also really good!

It was super busy when we went here, however, it was well worth the wait! Our server was amazing! Food was superb and really great portions! I was dumbfounded by my brownie desert, it was huge! We left full,satisfied, and carrying leftovers! Was our child's first restaurant experience and staff was so accommodating it really was the best!

The truck delivering took up most of the back parking lot to the point you couldn't get around the building.
Was greeted quickly by two smiling staff members and was seated in less than 30 seconds. The waitress was very friendly, quick, and attentive. Coffee came nice and hot with refrigerated creamer (unlimited refills too!)
The food came out super quick but was hot and cooked to order and correct :)
Experience was wonderful.
