We visited the Maple Pig last night. The hostess was able to get us seated right away. The Front of House staff was incredible! They were getting people in and seated quicker than I've ever seen!
The food was very good! We had pizza, the traditional nachos and Mac and Cheese bites. Everything was great! The pizza had more sauce than we like but that's just a matter of asking for less next time. We'll definitely be back!
We loved the food and the atmosphere! We ordered quite a few things to try (which is why we spent so much - you don’t HAVE to spend as much as we did). Our favorite so far was definitely the nachos! We plan to try the pizza the next time we go back! Our waitress (Whitney) was great and very attentive!
The atmosphere was great. My food was good I had nachos for an appetizer they were excellent and I had the smoked ham cheese with beer battered fries was delicious. The negatives were I want to order from the smokehouse menu and try the Mac and cheese with bacon and cornbread but that wasn’t an option and my server didn’t tell me this until I tried to order it. It would have been nice knowing that before looking at the menu. I had an original margarita and when my bill came I was charged $1.50 for salt. I know places are itemized their bills but will drinks those things should be included in the price. And the last thing is the server was not very knowledgeable about your menu or bar she didn’t inform us of what was on tap or what types of beer etc. when I asked what she would recommend for a suggestion on meal since I could get what I wanted she had none. But other than that it was great and will be back. As for drinks I will probably still to tap or bottle so I don’t get the extra surcharges.
We went yesterday & sat at the bar! The bartender was quick to make sure we had drinks and answered all our questions about the menu! We ordered a pizza! The pizza was large in size and very delicious!! The bottom crust was cooked perfectly and the hot honey gave it a sweet & spicy topping! We definitely can’t wait to go back! They’ve done a beautiful job making it a warm friendly atmosphere!
Walking in, we were impressed with the decor, its very welcoming. The attention to detail here is wonderful, even the menus are cool. We wanted to try a bunch of things, so we tried a side of mac and cheese and coleslaw as our appetizers. The mac and cheese is decadent and delicious. The coleslaw is very flavorful as well - not your typical watery, mayo based mess, it's definitely a step above the norm.
We ordered the pork burger ("Butt" its a burger!) and a brisket burger, both served on soft brioche buns. Flavor city on both! Absolutely delicious. We upgraded to sides of fries and onion rings, both of which were outstanding. Finished with a brownie topped with ice cream as desert. Everything was stellar. It all came out hot and fresh with tons of flavor. We were very impressed with the quality of the food, as well as the variety on the menu. We plan to try one of the brick oven pizzas next! Welcome to the neighborhood Maple Pig!
