Highland Cafe

Lovely, updated 1800's cape with an eclectic decorative style. Pleasant, attentive staff who take your order at the window and promptly service, excellent food for a breakfast and lunch spot. Good coffee, great pastries.

A pleasant alternative to noisier establishments and the atmosphere is bright and warm. The food is wonderful with something for everyone. The only negative is that orders can be forgotten, so they should work on a better system. It has gotten better since first opening, but perhaps the busier summertime traffic has caught them off guard. Glad to have another option for breakfast/lunch!

Absolutely delicious! The staff is great, the food is tasty, and the coffee is excellent. Stop here even if you are not staying at Highland Lake Resort.

My family and I have started to make this place a regular event. The food is great. Baked goods look very fresh. Love the specials. The staff has always been very courteous and friendly. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting.

Cute little place, there are about 6 tables, not too crowded. You order your food and have a seat and they bring it to you. I had the Belgian waffle which was good, not enormous but was sweet. My companion had the highland breakfast which she said was good. Good lattes. It is a nice place for a leisurely breakfast.
