Gritty McDuff's Freeport Brew Pub

Waitress was really awesome. Food was not great across the board. Maybe the "C" crew because it's a Sunday? Mac and cheese tasted like garlic powder and pasta water, spicy chicken burrito was dry, fish tacos were bland. Beer was pretty good. Lot of flies in the dining area.

Always a busy place! Great food, nice beer selection, service is usually pretty good, even when their is a big crowd. Pricing is a reasonable too. You may expect to wait for a seat, but usually not too long. We come here often when visiting the area. Great place to eat for adults and kids too.

Traveling from Connecticut to Freeport for vacation, we got in a little later than usual, so we remembered seeing Gritty McDuff's on our way to our rental condo. It was one of the only restaurants open late on a Sunday night. The food was really good, the wait staff was very nice too. We loved the pub style, long bench seating, it was perfect for the 6 of us! We will definitely be back there before we leave!

Nice brewpub. Casual atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating. I had the Best Bitter, while my wife had the Maine's Best IPA. Both were good. The blazing inferno chicken burrito is aptly named. If you don't order Thai native hot in Thai restaurants, you might want to consider a different selection.
