We had lobster roll & clam chowder and shrimp/calamari & clam chowder. The food was excellent. Lots of clams in the chowder, a lot of lobster in roll and calamari cooked perfectly. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes taverns with great food. We would give it a 5 Star if we had a good server. Brittany seemed to only be able to handle one table at a time. And we were ignored the whole time.

Jameson's is usually our go-to place for an impromptu Sunday dinner. Last evening at least 4 cars, in addition to mine, drove into the Tavern's parking lot to find the restaurant closed. I had checked the website before going and saw nothing about an early Sunday closing except during the winter months. Since this was early September I did not expect to find the early "winter" closing. All of us who arrived discussed the lack of warning on Jameson's website. If you have a website, why not use it to alert regular patrons and save us the trip?

1/2 hour wait, before concert in the park, but food was outstanding! The Seafood Scampi was loaded and absolutely worth it. My wife loved the house special clam chowder and lobster roll. Our waitress was kind, friendly and quick. Definitely recommend!

Beautiful colonial home dating to 1779. The Jameson Tavern did not disappoint us when we stopped for lunch after checking out the LL Bean store. Was told it would be a 10-15 minute wait for lunch. Understandable as the whole town was slammed. We actually only waited 5 minutes for a table. Nice selection of local draft beers. The wife had a steak salad that looked amazing. My daughter had fried haddock with sweet potato fried and I had the Seafood Scampi which was amazing. Service was friendly and prompt considering it was slammed.
