The tater tots are amazing. The brussel sprouts hot dog is incredible. It's like everything you liked as a kid on steroids
Great late night spot for a bite. Don't miss the tots.
When my partner wanted to come here, I asked, "a tater tot joint? Really?!"
My skepticism washed away as soon as the blessed vision of Tot Poutine graced my eyeballs.
Since then, whenever we're in town, I always ask him if we can go to Blue Rooster again (he enjoys the hot dog offerings). Oh, & they have decent draft beer, too.
Excellent wraps/ sandwiches. Fresh ingredients and snappy favor combos. God vegetarian choices. I had the falafel. Loved the pesto and crispy falafel.
We went with family last Thursday or Friday when we visited Portland. It was crowded in the waiting area, standing room only and it was raining. I’m pregnant with a small toddler as well, and there really wasn’t much of a place to sit other than the high top area by the window. Two chairs had opened up. No high chair available for kids. I know it’s probably for more of the young single crowd, but if you want families to come here you may want to get a high chair. Also, there was one guy making the food and the young lady cashier would stop after ringing a person up to help prepare the food. Then take the next person in line’s order. I thought this was against food prep policy. I didn’t see hands being washed after money was handled. Also didn’t see her put on gloves or remove gloves. But the food was good. Tots were delicious.
