I have had two amazing experiences here, one as a guest for dinner with friends and another as a performing bagpiper for a business who had a reception at the restaurant. As the bagpiper playing for the guests as they arrived and got off the boats, I was amazed at the layout of standup tables on the lawn, the beautiful spread of cocktail foods and smiling waitstaff passing hors'doerves to the mingling guests. As a diner with friends, the food is amazing! I love to be treated as nicely as we were there. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about what they serve and the food is prepared perfectly. I love eating at this restaurant.
Beautiful atmosphere and delicious food. I look forward to their lobster roll at least once per summer!
A peaceful essential Casco Bay sort of place. Dining along thevwater edge in a picnic-like cove, or overlooking water's edge on spacious outdoor porch. Varied menu including truly fresh caught local seafood. Portions generous! A bar indoors for those wishing for a quick stop; no reservations needed. Sunday brunch a nice destination for ferry passengers with a few little shops and a local Museum nearby; check operating hours for in season open or not.
A delightful evening dining outside on the lawn. Service was quick and accommodating to specific dietary requirements. The food was a work of art on the plate and the palate!
