Eddie's Variety

I’ve driven by Eddie’s Variety a thousand times and it’s never crossed my mind to stop in. It was just happenstance that I went with some friends this weekend. I stepped into the variety store and quickly realized this is where breakfast dreams come true. This (not so hidden) gem offers mouthwatering options to start your day on a delicious note. Breakfast za, egg sammiches, donuts, coffee, etc.

I have an odd recommendation for the food here, but ill get to that in a moment. I love the community atmosphere of Eddie's. Great location and always good people working in there. They have really really good coffee in the morning. The food menu is great, but I must admit it's a little hit or miss. Even when ordering the same thing, it will taste different each time you come in. Sometimes that's good, sometimes not. Some menu items are great, some aren't. So that brings me to the strange recommendation....If you grab some good here, I strongly recommend the food that they PRE-MADE and put under the heat lamp. I have NO IDEA why, but it tastes way better than the same menu item made fresh. I know it doesn't make sense, but it's like their food needs to wait to be consumed. Or there's magic in the heat lamp. I don't know what it is, but as a local trust me.

I love this local place! 3rd generation I believe...good food from good people. Humble seeing Eddie's Grandson in the back cooking my burger that is btw cheaper than any fast food corporation around and better quality! The Salads are bomb diggy!! They pretty much make everything right in-house & the variety is superb. Appreciate them showing up everyday to fill my belly! Cheers! Came from mass for a lyft ride and stopped after for a quick bite before getting back on the road. Decided on the fried raviolis which are amazing. Perfectly crispy great flavor. I havent found anythis good in Mass. Thanks for the delicious bit
