I took my mother here for lunch for her birthday last week and it was perfect! Food was delicious, service by Kitt was impeccable, very visually appealing yet causal, friendly atmosphere. Looking forward to another great meal at Maria’s soon!!
We ate at Maria’s on Valentines Day. The food was good and reasonably priced. The restaurant was full but the service was fine. We were seated promptly (we had a reservation). My biggest criticism was the lack of handicapped parking . The parking in that location has never been great. There are not many spaces next to the restaurant, so it is not unusual to have to park on the street. This is usually not much of an issue , however my wife recently had surgery and the lack of handicapped parking was a bit of a problem.
01/31/2020 we had a dinning experience - First time at Maria's new location and we absolutely loved it. We arrived to find the place packed and expected a wait, ( 1 hour) They do not take reservations for less than 6 people, and being a Friday night you will wait anywhere you go. The owner noticed we had our 7 year old with us and put a cheese pizza out for him (and others waiting) while we waited on the house.
Once seated we where greeted and drink orders were taken followed by food orders. the wait for the food was not long. All I can say is WOW !! Authentic Italian food that leaves you knowing you will be back. GREAT PLACE!!!
The tiramisu was the best I’ve ever had! The baked rigatoni and chicken parmigiana were delicious.
We didn't have a reservation and when we walked in were told, "well it will be an hour wait". I think staff expected us to leave but we didn't and after a few minutes of standing there awkwardly we were offered to wait at the bar. We had a half carafe of wine for $13 and eventually someone no showed for their reservation and we were invited into the dining room. Both of our meals were really good, the waitstaff was friendly but could have been a bit more attentive. I'm not sure we'll go back but it was definitely an experience, just the location of the restaurant alone is an experience.
