The Friendly Toast

What a gem! I'm visiting from Boston and stopped in for lunch at the counter, and was generally blown away. First, the vibes are on point, such a fun atmosphere, 10/10. I was seated at the bar immedietly. My server was fun and attentive, (I think her name was Sam, awesome purple hair) and she was on top of my clarifications to make sure my order was vegetarian. The food came out super quickly even with the busy crowd (I visited 2pm on a Sunday). I ordered a breakfast burrito which was yummy and filling, if a tiny bit soggy, but holy cow, I subbed for giant cheesy tater tots and they were PHENOMENAL, best thing I've had in a while, I had to pace myself to enjoy them and not gobble them all up immedietly. I very much enjoyed my visit!

Great service and good food. The corned beef hash was good and the potatoes too. The only thing that I would say is the French toast and pancakes weren’t as good as the other food. Overall I love the music and vibe. I come to Portland every fall and I’ll be back.

Great service and tasty food! The Bloody Mary flight is excellent. This is a good value for the food, atmosphere and service. Looking forward to going back.

Was a wait, but the online tracking is great. You get a text when table is ready and you can see how many are waiting before you.

Food-amazing. Items are a twist on a classic, and better than the original. Highly recommend the tots!
Drinks-huge selection for adults. All we tried were great. Definitely recommend the mimosas and the bloody marry (the pickle one was perfect).
Service- friendly and very attentive!
Price-higher than I prefer, but quality ingredients and the way they assemble it all, makes it understandable.
