Tipo Restaurant

Great food! Been there twice, both times very good. Off the beaten track, but obviously has a following.

Truly excellent. We vacationed in Portland, but live in food-forward Nashville. I wish there was a Tipo in Nashville! It was easily one of the best dining experiences my partner, his child, and I have had, especially around Portland. Small plates are adventurous and not too small for the price. We couldn’t stop talking about the creamy polenta, and I still dream about it. The pizza is a light, thin crust, with a smoky wood-fired char, and perfect for sharing after a couple small plates. But what really made the experience was the service. I don’t remember our server’s name (thin brunette, worked 7/13 evening), but she was friendly, down to earth, good at conversing, and was just a genuine person. If you’re on the fence about going here—just go.

Amazing cocktails and delicious small plates. Even something as simple as their bread is delicious! The meatballs & tagliatelle are my current favs, but I feel bad choosing favorites because everything is so good.

A neighborhood eatery with a friendly, capable staff; delicious homemade pizza and pasta; excellent salads and a full bar. Don't miss the meatballs, beet salad with pistachios & pasta with clams and green garlic. All these delicious dishes offered at a fair price. What more could one ask? Will most definitely return for another round of everything!

Nice neighborhood restaurant from the Central Provisions folks. Pizza & pasta and extras, a bit upscale from the standard. We've been twice, and been very pleased with the food and the service. Pizza is Neapolitan style, with a nice crust. Busy but not crowded both times, both on Friday nights.
