Bite into Maine

This is the 2 table commisary for the food trucks. Lobster rolls are available in Maine and Connecticut styles as well as some unique flavors. The curry is my favorite! They also serve grilled cheese, caprese sandwiches and more ... yum!!

Excellent lobster roll. Had the CT style with warm melted butter. Perfectly toasted roll, and generous amount of lobster. Thumbs up for the side of cole slaw too!

Perfect toasted buttered roll. had the butter lobster Connecticut style. Excellent. Clam chowder and potato salad also excellent. May be hard to get seat.

It's certainly not the restaurant experience, just a small shop with several seatings but oh how good the lobster rolls were. Still can't forget about them! Very generous amount of lobster rolls and the butter flavouring was just right.

This location of Bite Into Maine is open all year round. I loved the generous portions of lobster in their lobster roll. Other places in Portland skimp out on the lobster and charge similar or higher prices. I ordered the Maine style lobster roll which consists of butter and chives. Simple. Elegant. Yummy!

Definitely go check it out if you're in the area. During the tourist season, they should have their food truck operating near the Portland Head Lighthouse.
