My girlfriend Maggi and I were looking for a place to have Lobster with a view, coming from Kansas City we had no idea where to go. Spending the day riding around on our bikes exploring Old Orchard Beach we saw several places. We decided on The Stern and believe me we were not disappointed. Hopefully you'll try this Place
Found this hidden gem on accident on our way back to MA, and I have to say I loved it there! Right on the water front, in a little bay where the boat ramps are, very calming and relaxing atmosphere and amazing seafood! I think I had probably the best lobster roll I have ever had! The drinks are awesome too! I am so very glad we ended up there on a whim.
Stunningly beautiful boat shaped bar area & nicely designed lobster "shack" with delicious Maine seafood. On the back side of Pine Point facing bay & Scarborough flats. Very relaxing watching working water front & fishing folks. Easy to hang out on outside small deck. At long-time (decades!) back side of old Pine Point Fisherman's Co-Op.
Dynamite food. Great views. Get the scallops. The ones served on the forks. Alot of it is fried but they can make it how you want it also, sitting on the small deck is cool. The views on my pics are from the parking lot but when you sit on the deck it pretty much looks like that. I liked it here. Big parking lot,you can watch boaters launch and pull boats out while you wait. Good atmosphere. Will come back again. Only complaint the avocado with the lobster dish I had was insanely not ready yet, very hard, other than that it was awesome.
Small, cozy, right on the water. Interesting menu. Great steamers. My husband would have liked less fries and more scallops. Chowder was thick and delicious . Prices reasonable for fresh seafood. Quiet little gem worth looking for
