Elsmere BBQ & Wood Grill

We arrived shortly after they opened and were promptly greeted and seated. The food came out quickly and hot. I liked the light smokey taste to my salmon not a barbeque taste. The prices were reasonable as well. I would recommend visiting if you are down in the area .

BBQ is decent. Brisket can be hit or miss. Ribs and wings are solid. Patio in Summer. Great neighborhood spot for a beer and bite. Specials during week. Burrito when hungover

Heard of Elsmere BBQ on the radio where they mentioned how seriously they take their entire menu (including vegetarian and vegan item). Since then, I knew I had to go. My parents, husband and I went just recently because we love BBQ. My husband who loves meat ordered the black bean burger on the taco. I was so confused (he never chooses vegetarian items). So I confirmed with him that that was really what he wanted and he said yes with a confused look. He ate his entire meal and was raving how amazing it was. I told him that I was happy he tried something new and liked it. Again, he was confused why I was making a big deal that he would like a burger. He misread the menu, he thought it was just a regular beef burger, he couldn't even tell that it was black beans and no meat. My mom and I split the combo meal with ribs, brisket and chicken. All of the meat was amazing and I still had enough for an amazing lunch to bring to work. Can't praise this BBQ place enough

Great food, but beware if you see three young dudes just standing around in the kitchen. You'll be getting b-team quality food. When this place is on point, it's wonderful. When they have the peanut gallery cooking, you'll be left wishing for more. Keep your fingers crossed that Joe is your waiter. Solid dude and solid service.

Went to the Elsmere while on vacation. I must say the service was fantastic, friendly and attentive waitress and chefs. The bbq was outstanding! The sandwich I ate had brisket, pulled pork, and sausage with cabbage, onions, and pickles. It was something I never had before and it was out of this world. Highly recommend you check this place out.
